SUMMARY:Allsorts: Supporting LGBT+ Children & Young People
DESCRIPTION:We will explore some of the issues and challenges experienced by children and young people who are LGBT+ or exploring their sexual orientation and/or gender identity. Together we will examine how these issues may impact their lives and wellbeing. \nBy the end of the training\, participants will have: \n\nA better understanding of the experiences of LGBT+ people\nMore confidence in supporting\, and being an ally to\, LGBT+ people\nKnowledge about creating more inclusive environments for LGBT+ people\n\nAlthough trans and gender identity issues will be referred to in this training\, it is focussed more broadly on LGBT+ issues.
