Family Friendly Halloween Events 

Petworth’s Academy of Witches and Wizards 

Step into a world of magic where children can cast spells and brew potions, spooky outfits recommended! A whimsical experience sparking imagination and wonder! This event is free to participate in, but you must pay the standard admission charges for Petworth House and Park (£19 for an adult and £9.50 for a child). 

 

West Dean Gardens: Potion Making & Nature Crafts 

Get hands on, with fizzing potions and make spooky crafts using foraged materials! A great way to blend creativity with nature. This event starts at £5 per child, in addition to the standard garden entry fee. 

 

Drusillas Park: Shriek Week! 

A fright-tastic and fun filled adventure with spooky decorations, themed attractions and animal encounters. Ideal for younger children who like gentle scares. Drusillas offer 2 for 1 tickets during shriek week. 

 

Arundel Wetland Centre: Super Natural Adventure 

Explore nature trails with a Halloween twist. Kids can collect stamps in a logbook and learn about wildlife in a fun, seasonal setting. This event is included in the price of general admission, starting at £15.95 for an adult and £10.20 for a junior. 

 

Aldingbourne Spooktacular week 

Fun filled spooky activities for children like zombie archery, creeptastic crafts, a trick or treat trail and animal encounters! £6 per person entry fee, and some activities like zombie archery are an extra £3 per child. 

 

Chichester Canal: Halloween Boat Trip 

Hop aboard a spooky cruise with themed decorations and a surprise. A gentle and fun way to enjoy Halloween on the water! Children under 2 go free, £15 per person otherwise, including a drink and a snack. Carer price £10. 

 

 

Pumpkin Picking & Trails 

Rogate Pumpkin Patch 

A spooky field filled with pumpkins of all shapes and sizes. Enjoy themed photo spots, games and carving stations! £9 per ticket, under 2’s go free. Some activities incur an additional cost. 

 

Amberley museum: Pumpkin Trail & Broomstick Crafting 

Hunt for pumpkins around the museum and make your own broomstick to take home! Museum admission is £18 per adult, £10 per child and free for under 5’s. Halloween crafts incur an extra cost of between £2-£5. 

 

Sompting Pumpkin Patch 

A delightful family experience with pumpkin picking, craft activities, local food trucks and face paint! Free entry, cash and card payments accepted for pumpkins, craft activities, food and drink. 

 

Halloween Parties for Kids 

 

Dinki Disco: Worthing & Hove 

A daytime disco with costumes, glowsticks and dancing for under 8’s. Perfect for little ones that love a boogie! £11 for a child, £7 for an adult, and £32 for a family of four (2 adults and 2 children). Babies go free. Price includes everything. 

 

Monster Party: Oving Jubilee Hall 

Fancy dress, storytelling, games, and a pumpkin competition in an indoor setting. Great for rainy days or families looking for a community vibe. £2 per adult and £1 per child.
